1866 Shield Nickel with Rays- Off Center Mint Error, Die Cracks, RARE!

T
he reverse of this coin appears to have been struck slightly off center, with the denticles on the upper right rim
significantly lower than they should be. There is also a die crack running from the second T in STATES to the C in AMERICA. The shield is outlined, with the cross visible and several of the leaves and berries can be seen
. A few of the letters of IN GOD WE TRUST can be read at the top and the date is very faint but the top curves of both 6's are decipherable with a good eye. Most
of the lettering can be read on the reverse, nearly all of the stars and rays are visible and the 5 is
clear
.
This coin does not appear to have been cleaned and is not bent.
