Offered  for sale is this Vintage & Very Rare &
Complete set of all 4
issued Stars & Stripes Dome Lunchboxes & Thermos & issued in Japan & USA. The 3 Japanese issued boxes are
Very Rare
& the lone lunchbox issued in the USA was by Aladdin & came with matching thermos which the Japan issued boxes did not.
Included are the following...
- 1970 USA version w/thermos.. -1970 Japan Regular 3 star version -1974 Japan Rare Bandai 1 star version...- 1974 Rare Meiji BeatBox 1 star version.
The 3 Japanese issued differ from the US version as the Hardware differs as well as a 5 Vertical Line pattern on the Japanese version & the USA version has 4 vertical line pattern. The Beat box still has the
Original Tag
attached on the front & this is the
only known example
with that tag still present which dates the lunchbox to a date of 1974. These 3 Japanese issued versions are
R10
in Rarity &
NOT
found in any guides as they are just that Rare !!! I know of only 1 other collector that has all 4 versions...1 USA & 3 Japan... It took me years to complete the collection of all 4 & this set is a
MUST
for the lunchbox collector that wants Vintage & Rare !!!
