A great amount of detail was put into this Bottlehead Mainline headphone amplifier. The chassis and transformer bell end were painted with metallic paint. The wooden base was sanded and stained. It was then finished by hand with special oil with increasing grits of sandpaper between coats. The final coat is finished with my HVLP spray system.
The wiring for this amp was done in a neat manner to provide a pleasing appearance and to ensure that all wires were connected to their proper terminals. Each terminal was carefully inspected to ensure that all joints were properly soldered. The resistances and voltages were then tested and passed all tests. Finally, I've listened to the amp with my own set up to ensure it was in proper working order.
The Bottlehead Mainline can support both high and low impedance headphones. It also has a balanced XLR output if needed. The Mainline comes with a TwoQuiet Stepped Attenuator for best performance.
