    The
    Loga 30 RC
    Slide Rule is hard to find.  This
    specimen is in very good condition. Minor signs of use are visible on
    inspection -- small scratches can be seen on very close inspection; and the cork (or similar) backing on the knob is partially worn away (which does not affect function at all).  See photos.
    The cursor and the inner disc both turn smoothly.
    The outer diameter is about 12.5 cm.  The diameter of the outer scales is about 9.5 cm, meaning that the circumference of the outer scales is about 30 cm -- whence, presumably, the first part of the model name
    30 RC
    .  The "
    R
    " in the model name refers to the "
    R
    " reciprocal scale (Reziprokenskala).  Speculating, the "
    C
    " in the name may refer to the many commercial gauge marks found on the reverse (or it may mean something else).  Including the knob on the reverse, the overall "height" of the rule is about 16 mm.
    The cursor on the rear is coupled to the inner disc on the front, and facilitates turning the disc.  The leather case is in very good condition.  The instructions are included, and are in good condition. Because they do not fit into the case, instructions are often separated from Loga slide rules, and are especially hard to find.
