is a rare
World War I
U.S. Model 1917 Remington Rifle & Shotgun Bayonet with Scabbard.  It has a blade that is marked REMINGTON (hard to read) and 1913.  The other side has British proofs that were overstamped for US use.  The b
ayonet measures measures 22" overall with a blade length of 17".  Nice walnut grips and excellent working press-stud ejector.
It came in a leather 1917 bayonet scabbard that appears to have had the leather body replaced in WWII (note the markings on the side).
