    The Sony TA-F555ESXII, released in Japan in 1987 during the Japanese “Golden Era” of audiophile equipment, is a sleek, high-performance integrated amplifier. Although the face of this amp appears basic, the circuitry is advanced, featuring Sony’s Spontaneous Twin Drive power system (class A stage and rectifier power stage are independent) as well as the Super Legato Linear system, which reduces switching and crossover distortion. By virtue of its high build quality and outstanding sound, the TA-F555ESXII is a very well-regarded unit among audiophiles.
