US ARMY MODEL 1913 PATTON CAVALRY SABER SWORD-ORIGINAL-L.F.&C. 1919

Very good condition and guaranteed original US Army Model 1913 Patton cavalry saber that is maker marked “L.F.&C.” on the left ricasso and dated 1919 with a flaming bomb proof mark. Right ricasso is marked “U.S.” with an eagle head proof mark. 35 ½” blade has original bright finish with some gray and brown patina. No nicks, dings, or sharpening and still has original leather washer at the base. Hilt has excellent original black metal finish. Excellent plastic grips with crisp checkering and no damage. Fitted in correct original scabbard that is in good condition. Scabbard has nice original paint, but canvas has some damage. A nice classic Patton cavalry saber for your collection.
